Looking to spice up your next stir fry? Try this spicy gochujang tempeh stir fry!
Gochujang is a Korean fermented chili pepper paste that's spicy, sweet, salty, and savory... perfect for a base for a stir fry sauce!

The nuttiness of the toasted sesame oil in this sauce pairs beautifully with tempeh!

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients
🌶 1/4 to 1/3 cup gochujang (to taste)
🌶 1 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce or tamari
🌶 1 Tbsp toasted sesame oil
🌶 1 ½ Tbsp sweetener of choice (I used sugar)
🌶 1 ½ Tbsp rice vinegar

Optional: black sesame seeds for garnish

Directions
1. Sauté the tempeh (or other protein of choice) until golden brown.

2. Remove from heat and add the gochujang sauce, reserving some for serving. Stir to coat.

3. Serve over stir-fried veggies and brown rice.

4. Drizzle reserved gochujang sauce over the top for some extra flavor!
