Pumpkin dip served with a sliced honeycrisp apple

Happy Halloween! This quick and easy pumpkin dip is a great, festive snack for this evening while you’re passing out candy to trick-or-treaters tonight! You could also bring this to a fall party for Halloween or Thanksgiving! Be sure to add this to your seasonal recipe collection.

Ingredients

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

2 Tbsp. pureed pumpkin (canned pumpkin works)

2 tsp. brown sugar

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice (see note below)

1 tsp. ground cinnamon

2-3 apples of your choice, sliced (I love honeycrisp and pink lady)

1/2 lemon, juiced (optional)

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients in a medium serving bowl and stir well to combine. Place in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve.

2. Slice apples just prior to serving.

3. Squeeze lemon juice on apples to delay browning. (Optional step)

Notes

If you don’t have pumpkin pie spice, you can make it by combining these five spices that you might already have on hand:

3 Tbsp. ground cinnamon

2 tsp. ground ginger

2 tsp nutmeg

1 1/2 tsp ground allspice

1 1/2 tsp ground cloves
